I’m Raymond Jones, known to most as Ray. My journey with photography began in 1981 when I unwrapped a Polaroid Instamatic. From that instant, I was captivated by light, composition, and the power of a single frame to tell a story.

Since 2017, I have dedicated myself to creating high-end imagery for businesses, hospitality brands, and individuals who understand that perception shapes opportunity. I specialise in food, product, and business portrait photography, and I photograph a select number of weddings each year, never more than ten, to ensure every commission receives my full creative focus and attention.

My work has been recognised with multiple awards, including being a finalist in the prestigious Pink Lady Food Photographer of the Year competition. Heavily influenced by fine art, particularly the Renaissance masters, I strive to create images that are not only visually striking but also deeply narrative, capturing the essence of a space, a brand, or a moment.

Beyond still imagery, I also create short films and animations, collaborating with creative teams to translate vision into compelling visual stories. Every project reflects my commitment to craftsmanship, detail, and storytelling, qualities that have become synonymous with my work.
