I photographed Charlotte for a collection of business portraits she could use across her website and social media.
She didn’t just need one headshot. She needed a range of photographs that showed the person behind her businesses.
That meant creating different portraits, changing clothing, backgrounds and compositions, while keeping everything recognisably Charlotte.
More than just a headshot
A good business portrait needs to look professional, but it also needs to look like you.
That’s why I guide people throughout a session rather than simply putting them in front of the camera and asking them to smile.
We work with positioning, expression, lighting and different environments to create photographs that feel natural.
Charlotte was able to see what we were creating as we worked, which meant she could be involved in the process too.
One session. Multiple uses.
The finished collection gave Charlotte photographs she could use across her website, LinkedIn, social media and other marketing.
That’s particularly useful for business owners who need more than one profile photograph. Instead of repeatedly searching for something suitable to post, you have a library of professional images ready to use.
And, several years later, I still like these photographs because they look like Charlotte.
That matters more to me than following whatever photographic trend happens to be fashionable.
